2011 SOAZ4NE GOLF OUTING

When you have 44 avid Husker fans gathered together you can count on one thing. They will have fun and play good golf and that they did. This years golf tournament was at the Sun Valley Course in the Rancho Vistoso area the end of April. The weather has wonderful and not too hot. The course was in great shape and the golfers were sharp.

They couldn’t miss a putt. They were phenomenal and we won’t tell you what their team score was. You wouldn’t believe it. And besides some of the other players might ask for a saliva test.

The winners: Larry Hubka, Steve Wacker, Rich Vanier and Tom Tidball.

After play, we had great burgers, chips, lots of onion slices, pop or beer and a good raffle, where we added a couple hundred dollars to our Scholarship Fund. Just to give you an idea, the big auction featured the lawn chair and the Husker Plaque. Sorry, but the two lovely ladies were not part of the prize.
